Tassat ® Group Successfully Completes Type 2 SOC 2 Examination

NEW YORK — (December 12) — Tassat Group, Inc., a leading provider of private, permissioned blockchain-based real-time settlement solutions, today announced that it has successfully completed its 2025 Type 2 SAE 18 SOC 2 Examination.

The Type 2 SOC 2 Examination is an in-depth assessment of the controls an organization has implemented to ensure the security, confidentiality, and availability of its information and systems. Schellman & Company, LLC, an independent audit firm, conducted the examination, which evaluated the design and operational effectiveness of Tassat’s security controls related to its TassatPay platform for the period between October 1, 2024, and September 30, 2025. Schellman & Company’s review confirmed that Tassat’s controls were both well-designed and consistently applied.

“Trust, safety, and security are central to Tassat’s mission and the foundation of our technology,” said Glen Sussman, Chief Executive Officer of Tassat. “The SOC 2 Type 2 process provides a rigorous evaluation of our data protection and system controls. Successfully completing this examination reflects Tassat’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and reliability for our partners and clients.”

The examination presents the results of third-party testing of Tassat’s security controls, evaluated against the Trust Services Criteria established by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). These criteria, together with the Type 2 SOC 2 process, are recognized as the industry standard for evaluating the security of data-processing services.

Tassat’s 2025 Type 2 SOC 2 Report is available to existing and prospective customers under a non-disclosure agreement and may be requested through a Tassat Customer Success Representative or by contacting [email protected].
